Senior Suites offers affordable, high quality apartment homes with specially-designed amenities to meet the needs of older adults. The original concept for Senior Suites began as a public-private partnership between Senior Suites Chicago Cooperation, an affiliate of Senior Lifestyle Corporation, and the City of Chicago to create high quality, appealing seniors housing with specially designed amenities and services, while offering affordable rents.  They are developed by Senior Lifestyle Corporation and managed by Senior Lifestyle Management Corporation. Today, Senior Suites communities have expanded beyond the City of Chicago borders.  As with all Senior Lifestyle communities, Senior Suites are members of a family of senior living communities that provide superior service an exceptional value.

Although significant investments are made by the private sector, the affordable rents would not be possible without assistance from a variety of public funding sources.  In general, each community is financed in part, with assistance from municipal, state and federal resources.  Eligible residents must be at least 62 years of age and certain income guidelines (established by the Dept. of Housing and Urban Development) apply to the majority of Senior Suites apartments.
