Senior Suites of Fay’s Point in Blue Island offers affordable senior apartments for income qualified residents at least 62 years of age. Senior Suites of Fay’s Point will provide 90 affordable priced apartments for seniors, and features significant “green” technology and design elements including (but not limited to) a geo-thermal heating & cooling system, permeable pavers, and extensive use of recycled content. Residents enjoy complimentary laundry facilities, spacious, well-appointed community areas designed for opportunities for social engagement and camaraderie as well as Wellness Everyday™ programs throughout the month.
The Senior Suites rental community for seniors is located on a tranquil peninsula where the Cal Sag Channel and the Little Calumet River intersect. It is part of a master planned community that will ultimately include an 84 slip marina, 74 townhouses and 304 condominiums.

How to Qualify
Senior Suites has been developed by Senior Lifestyle Corporation and managed by Senior Lifestyle Management Corporation. Senior Suites of Fay’s Point is a joint venture between Senior Lifestyle Corporation (through its affiliate Senior Suites Chicago Corporation) and United Neighborhood Organization. As with all Senior Lifestyle communities, Senior Suites are members of a family of senior living communities that provide superior service and exceptional value.
Eligible residents will be at least 62 years of age. The current income limits, which are established by the Secretary of the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) are: MEDIAN HOUSEHOLD INCOME LIMITS – effective 5-14-2010 – ONE PERSON-$31,440/year; TWO PERSON - $35,940/year. All pre-applications will be processed in the order in which they are received.
